The high quality of the presentations that we have at the iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

Sessions for the iMoot are to be a maximum of 45 minutes long including question time.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Description of Presentation

Support for quality course design and delivery frequently requires time-intensive, one-on-one attention with faculty. As the demand for hybrid and online course delivery increases, the need for this individualized e-learning support will continue to rise. Given the complexity of most learning management systems and the relative inexperience of many instructors, it is inevitable that (despite best efforts), faculty will inadvertently make missteps in course creation that interfere with student learning.

See how the E-learning team at Augsburg College is using Configurable Reports (SQL) to proactively identify potential problems in active Moodle courses (grade inaccuracies, forum access, etc.), and employing Google Sheets and Google Scripts to streamline faculty alerts.
