The high quality of the presentations that we have at the iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

Sessions for the iMoot are to be a maximum of 45 minutes long including question time.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Thanks!

Andrew Chiu

A day in the life of... Moodle - How Moodle is used at one high school.

Content Type: LMS Case Studies and Research

Language: English

Description of Presentation

This presentation aims to give an overview and some highlights as to how we use Moodle in our high school.

At the American International School, Hong Kong, we use Moodle

  • to take and track attendance for each class
  • as a main portal for every course
  • as the main gradebook for every course (including some creative grading techniques)
  • to coordinate student choices
  • to track and report on student attitudes for learning

I'll pop into a number of different Moodle courses that we run and highlight a few of the day-to-day and not so day-to-day uses that we rely on in Moodle.
