The high quality of the presentations that we have at the iMoot is what keeps both presenters and attendees coming back year after year. If you are new to presenting at an iMoot - don't worry, you'll get help and guidance from the team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

To submit a presentation proposal please select the 'Add Entry' tab below. We'll do the rest, and get back to you to confirm whether it has been accepted.

Sessions for the iMoot are to be a maximum of 45 minutes long including question time.

If you can not see the 'Add Entry' tab, either you haven't set up an account on the site, or the call for presentations has closed.

Description of Presentation

Portfolios have been around for some time now and pre-date the electronic area. In the past, heavy binders were lugged around but students and teachers. These days, all learning evidence can be stored online and viewed easily.

You may ask, "Why should I look into ePortfolios when I'm already using Moodle?" It's easy: ePortfolios offer another set of possibilities for your learners that go beyond the classroom and allow them to think cross-disciplinary, transfer skills, and showcase their learning.

In this session we are going to look at benefits of ePortfolios as well as connecting them to Moodle for classroom work.
